Condolence: To Mrs. Verda Moana, Joe Jr., Jon, Jan, Joylynn and family,
My heartfelt sympathy to all of you for your loss.
I graduated with Joe from McKinley High School in 1967. I was hoping to see Joe at our upcoming 50th Reunion in May 2017, but I guess it was not meant to be. We will miss his physical presence, but he will probably be there in spirit partying along with the rest of us!
My memories of Joe was he was a decent, funny man! I remember going to his graduation party in Palolo Valley. At one of our reunions I spoke to him because I was amazed he was a grandfather when I was not yet married. He said "Candice, Santa Claus does not bring you children, you have to make them yourself!". LOL!
May you find comfort in knowing Joe was respected and will be remembered by his classmates with much Aloha. May he rest in peace.
