MY BELIEF IN 100 WORDS

At age 98 and Navy Vet., I, George Escher, have learned that every choice influences relationship. The first human event in the Judeo-Christian Bible is God's message to Adam & Eve to not eat from a tree in the garden, but their disobedience broke their relationship with God. The rest of the Bible is God's bringing humans back into relationship with him, through Christ. "Christ died once for our sins. An innocent person died for those who are guilty. Christ did this to bring you to God, when his body was put to death and his spirit was made alive." (1 Peter 3:18)

A sincerely committed believer in Christ has the Holy Spirit. Luke chapters 12 to 19 show Christ healing and teaching by the power of the Spirit. Christ said, “I will ask the Father and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever.” (John 14:16).
