Bernard Allen Kehaulani (Popo) Keopuhiwa
July 2, 1965 - February 16, 2017 age 51
Passed quietly at home surrounded by his ohana. He was born in Hilo, Hawaii and raised in Keaukaha.

Preceded in death by his parents Maureen Mercedes Kaanoanookalani Auwae Keopuhiwa & Wayne Henry Keopuhiwa. As keiki o ka aina he paddled for the former Kai Malia Canoe Club & Keaukaha Canoe Club. He was a retired heavy equipment operator, sugar cane farmer and landscaper.

He was a member of Kilauea Lodge of the Grand Lodge of Hawaii F & AM, as well as, Hawaii Chapter No. 1 Order of the Eastern Star.

He was a devoted husband. As kako'o to his beloved wife, he gathered and harvested la'au, mauka to makai, and continued preserving and perpatuating traditional Hawaiian healing arts and culture, as passed down from na kupuna, Agnes Hiilawe Kela Auwae and Henry Allen "Papa" Auwae.

Survived by his wife Jeanella Kaumaiilunaoholaniku Keopuhiwa of Fern Forest, Volcano, sisters Alisa Lei (Lawrence Kaloi III) Keopuhiwa of Keaukaha, Kuuipo Michelle (Willy) Ganal-Keopuhiwa of Keaau. brother in law G. Dean (Bev Paschal) Bingham of Reno, NV. numerous Auntys, Uncles, neices, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held at Malia Puka O Kalani
April 29, 2017 in Keaukaha. Visitation 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM service and mass 9:30 AM Aloha attire
Celebration of Life to follow at Hawaiian Village.
