Obituary for Benjamin Puna Baker

Benjamin Puna Baker, 58, of Nanakuli passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2017.
He was born March 12, 1958 in Honolulu.
Graduated Nanakuli High School class of 1976.
He joined the U.S. Navy in October 1976 and was assigned on the USS Ranger.
He worked as a electrical/equipment repairman for 4 years.
After he served in the Navy he worked for several automotive dealerships in Hawaii.
His last place of employment was at Windward Ford of Hawaii in Kailua as a partsman.
For 20 years he worked part-time at the Aloha Stadium as a Usher Captain.

Ben loved to watch the events that took place at the Aloha Stadium. He had a passion for football and basketball. He was a member of the Ark of Safety Church in Waianae.

He is survived by his wife, Tanya Healani Baker
daughters, Breanne (Keoni) Simpson, Brooke Peterson, Brandi Baker and Braysia Baker
mother, Barbara Baker
brother, Brian (Angie) Baker
sisters, Blossom (Happy) Meyers, Brenda (Reggie) Kalahiki and Brenette Baker
4 grandchildren, Breani Simpson, Mikayla Simpson, Braylin Peterson and Samantha-Ann Peterson

Service will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at
Ballard Family Moanalua Mortuary
Visitation: 5:00 pm
Service: 6:00 pm

Burial the following day on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 11:30 am at
National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific - Punchbowl
